BOISE — About 10:30 a.m. Monday, Boise Fire Department crews responded to a mercury spill at First Nation Pawn at 919 North Orchard Street.
“At least one person on site tried to assist with cleaning up the mercury prior to our arrival,” said Boise Fire Dept. spokeswoman Char Jackson.
If anyone was at First National Pawn around 10:30 Monday morning, you’re asked to call non-emergency Ada County dispatch (208-377-6790) so officials can determine if you have been exposed to mercury.
The business is currently closed for cleanup.
No word yet on what caused the spill.
