Admission tickets are now available on-line for the recently-renovated Idaho State Museum in Boise, according to the Idaho State Historical Society.
The Museum is set to open to the public on Friday, October 12th at 11:00 a.m. Celebration of the Museum’s reopening will be marked with special activities for visitors, including food trucks, hands-on activities for children, potato sack races, gold panning, a photo booth, and a number of cultural performances.
The Museum will be open for extended evening hours on Opening Day, Friday October 12th.
Opening weekend hours are:
Friday October 12: 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Saturday October 13: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Sunday October 14: 12 p.m.-5 p.m.
Those planning to visit the Museum on Saturday can take a shuttle provided by Boise State University’s Department of History. The shuttle will run every half hour from Boise State’s Brady Street Garage and Clearwater Analytics in downtown.
