ADA COUNTY, Ida. — Ada County holds a special funeral service, remembering twelve people who died but whose cremated remains were never claimed.

Thursday's ceremony marked the fourth annual Memorial for the Forgotten at Terrace Lawn Cemetery. Eleven remains were interred last year and more than 60 in the previous two years.

The Ada County Coroner tells us if relatives come forward with proper identification, the remains can be claimed.

"Everyone deserves to be remembered, everyone deserves something said and a place for their name, and we just feel that that was something that we were able to accomplish and we're proud and honored to be able to do that," says Dave Salove, General Manager of Terrace Lawn and Cloverdale Cemeteries.

Right now, the remains are being held in a crypt donated by the Cloverdale Funeral Home.
