Ada County Highway District Commission holding budget hearing Wednesday

GARDEN CITY, Idaho — The Ada County Highway District Commission is set to review its upcoming fiscal year budget, and the public is invited to weigh in.

The Fiscal Year 2020 proposed budget is up for approval Wednesday. The budget is $123.7 million and includes $60.1 million in capital projects.

Funding would cover projects like revamping Ten Mile Road between Ustick Road and Chinden Boulevard, as well as creating a new Cole Road and Victory Road intersection. Improvements to Meridian Road between Cherry Lane and Ustick Road are also planned, along with upgrades to Gowen Road Bridge #2173.

The meeting is open to the public and testimony will be accepted. If you'd like to attend, head to the ACHD Auditorium at 3775 Adams Street in Garden City. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. and will be streamed here for those unable to attend.
