BOISE, Ida. — A new bikeway plan is in the works for a Boise Bench neighborhood.
The Ada County Highway District has been working with neighbors in the area of Shoshone and Canal Streets, just south of Crescent Rim Drive, since last year to hammer out a plan to make riding your bike in the area a lot easier.
The plan includes a combination of bike lanes and signalized pedestrian crossings.
It also eliminates some on-street parking to create more bike lanes.
You can read all about the plan on the ACHD website, then tell them what you think of it through an online survey.
The survey ends on August 14.
Construction of the project is expected to start next summer.
