One of Boise's busiest streets is now easier to navigate.
For the past year, the Ada County Highway District has been working on what it calls a "giant project" of widening a stretch of Cole road between Franklin and the interstate, as well as improvin the often congested intersection.
Officials officially reopened the street Wednesday with a ribbon cutting.
The project cost a total of $9.5 million.
