BOISE — Ada County Highway District is ready to kick off its annual "pothole days." Starting Tuesday, ACHD wants local residents to let them know where the pot holes are.

"Any information will help us,” said ACHD spokeswoman Natalie Shaver. “We would love a picture, if you could send us a picture. Tell us where it is, whether that’s an address--like, if it’s outside of a place, or if it’s near an intersection, maybe a name of a subdivision. That way we can find it quicker and our crews will be able to fill that for you."

You can report a pothole by visiting their website here. Crews will use that information to find the pothole and repair it quickly. The typical response time is 24 hours, but this may vary due to the large volume of requests they see during this event. Pothole Days runs through Thursday, April 4. However, you can report a pothole to ACHD at any time.
