BOISE, Idaho — A Boise man is behind bars in connection with a string of burglaries in Kuna last month.

Police say Chancellor Threatt broke into over a dozen unlocked cars and stole three guns and several other items like computer equipment, wallets, tools, backpacks, binoculars, and credit cards from the unlocked cars.

Deputies have been able to return some of the stolen property, but haven't been able to find the three stolen guns.

Threatt is charged with 23 felony counts of burglary, grand theft, and 10 misdemeanor counts of petty theft in connection with the case and will make his initial court appearance Tuesday afternoon.

The crimes of grand theft and burglary are punishable by up to 14 and 10 years in prison respectively.
