BOISE, Idaho — If you're planning out your holiday shopping, why not keep it local? Buy Idaho, Inc. is getting ready to host its 8th annual Holiday Market in early December.
More than 30 vendors will set up shop in The Linen Building on Thursday, December 5. The shopping event features live music, holiday festivities and even a wine and beer garden as you make your purchases. The Holiday Market is free to attend and runs from 4 to 9 p.m.
Buy Idaho is also encouraging everyone to shop local this season, especially on November 30. The date marks this year's Small Business Saturday. Local shops, boutiques, restaurants, salons and more will be open all-day with in-store specials and more.
You can also be entered to win one of five $100 Downtown Boise Gift Cards during Small Business Saturday. All you have to do is grab a passport at any participating business and visit a minimum of eight businesses to get your passport stamped for a chance to win. For a list of businesses, click here.
