TWIN FALLS, Idaho — Thanks to COVID-19, several 4th of July events across the state have been canceled--but that's not stopping folks in the Magic Valley from celebrating our country.

Here are just a few events still happening around the Magic Valley this weekend:

  1. Twin Falls annual fireworks show
    1. Will be held at College of Southern Idaho
    2. Fireworks are scheduled to start at 10:00 Saturday night
    3. No alcohol is allowed
    4. There may be some road closures in effect around campus
  2. Buhl Sagebrush Days
    1. Theme is "Honor Those Who Serve"
    2. Parade will run down Highway 30
      1. Scheduled for 10:00 Saturday morning
  3. Rupert's 4th of July Celebration
    1. Parade to kick off in Rupert
      1. Scheduled for 11:00 Saturday Morning.

Whichever event you decide to attend, the South Central Public Health District continues to remind everyone to take proper precautions to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

That includes things like wearing a mask, maintaining 6 feet of social distance, and washing your hands well and often.

Have a safe, and happy, holiday weekend everyone!
