The 4th annual Touch a Truck event gave Treasure Valley kids a chance to get their hands on all kinds of working trucks Saturday at Albertsons Stadium.
The event is a fundraiser for the Junior League of Boise, an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, community, and leadership.
Children of all ages got up-close and personal experiences with everything from police trucks, to ice cream trucks.
"I think it's a good education for them. I think they need to get out and see some of these things like the police cars, to get up close and play inside a police car. They never get a chance to do that." Said Bruce Gates of the Idaho Military Vehicle Preservation Association.
Last year they raised over $5,000 during the event.
