A sexual assault reported on the Boise Greenbelt during August of 2015 has been recanted.
Boise Police detectives say that after investigating a report of a sexual assault near Americana Street and the river, the individual that initially reported the assault has withdrawn the statement and told officers the crime never occurred.
A sketch was created of the suspect who allegedly attacked the woman following the initial report.
