WATFORD CITY, N.D. (AP) -- A two-vehicle crash on a frosty highway in the western North Dakota oil patch has killed a man from Idaho.

The Highway Patrol says the 26-year-old man from Wendell, Idaho, lost control of the car he was driving on U.S. Highway 85 in McKenzie County about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday. The man's car drifted into the wrong lane and was struck by an oncoming pickup truck.

The 45-year-old Tioga man driving the pickup truck suffered undisclosed injuries.

The patrol did not immediately identify either man.
