NAMPA, Idaho — Idaho State Police investigated a crash that happened Wednesday at around 9 p.m. The crash happened on eastbound I-84 near the Garrity exit.

31-year-old Tyler Babcock of Boise was driving his 2012 Nissan Altima when he lost control and sideswiped a 2008 Pontiac G6 driven by 35-year-old Callenta Fuentes of Caldwell. Both vehicles went across all lanes of travel on the eastbound 84 on ramp, coming to a rest against the cement barrier.

Both drivers were taken to St. Alphonsus in Nampa. Fuentes was wearing a seatbelt, Babcock was not. There is no word on their injuries this morning. The on-ramp was blocked for about one and half hours for the investigation.
