A 12-year-old Middleton boy may be a few years away from a drivers license, but that doesn't stop him from getting behind the wheel.
Zach Telford has been driving race cars for more than 2 years and has more than 30 victories under his belt, but it's not his driving skills that are getting him noticed by Champion Auto Parts, it's his work ethic.
Earlier this year, Zach submitted an essay giving his opinion on what it means to be a champion, and out of more than 700 applicants, he's now in the top 25.
If Zach makes it to the top 15 he would win a 5,000 dollar racing sponsorship, but if he wins, it means 50,000 dollars towards his racing career.
