MEN AND WOMEN IN UNIFORM GAVE VETERANS GIFTS AS PART OF "CAMOUFLAGE CHRISTMAS" — Operation "Camouflage Christmas" kicked off Thursday and it put big smiles on some of our local heroes at the Idaho State Veterans home. Members of the Idaho National Guard, and the Navy and Marine Reserve Units from Gowen Field delivered Christmas gifts to Veteran residents.

Nearly 500 gifts were placed around the Christmas tree in the home's dining room.

"This is what Christmas is. This is great, being around friends and giving them the fun and the love. This is a blast," said Doug Foote, Air National Guard Veteran.

The Men and Women in uniform have been working on this annual event since July.
