MAGIC VALLEY — A filmmaker documenting the lives of Americans through COVID-19 made a pit stop in Twin Falls back in early July.

Today, he released episode three of the docuseries, which predominantly revolves around the story of Liyah Babayan, a refugee in Twin Falls.

"I think there are great lessons to learn from this, and that's what I want to draw from this. I want to draw from the perspective of people across different states in different situations, how they react, and what they are doing to overcome this," Scott Henderson, Director and Producer of Life in America during a Pandemic, said.

During the pandemic, Liyah's children have been able to make and donate over 10,000 masks nationwide. Her business also received an anonymous $10,000 grant to help other refugee families affected by COVID-19.

Henderson interviewed people from all over the country, including nurses, salon owners, boutique owners, and others.
