Young republicans from around the state gathered for their bi-annual convention in Boise on Saturday. The group's new leadership was elected for the next two years.
A representative says Governor Otter served the state with distinction and left behind a legacy. He's excited to see what governor little does to move the state forward.
"Brad little has the experience in government, in life that we need to be able to lead our state forward and he's going to be a great governor, he's going to be successful. All of our constitutional officers whether it be from lieutenant governor, to controller, to attorney general. We have a great slate of constitutional officers as well as well as state legislators so I'll feel really good about the direction of the state of Idaho," said Adam Strong, Idaho Young Republicans chair.
The inaugural ball was held Saturday evening as well.
