Calling all Potterheads! You and your kids have read the books and watched the movies (more times than you can count, I presume), but if you’ve never gone inside the Hogwarts Library, now is your chance — and at a discount.

Both Amazon and Target are offering the Harry Potter Hogwarts Library collection for only $18.32. It’s regularly $38.97, so that’s a 53% savings! The collection includes three hardcover books treasured by users of the great library at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry: “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” “Quidditch Through the Ages” and “The Tales of Beedle the Bard.”

“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” which was also turned into a film, is (fictional) author Newt Scamander’s masterwork on magical creatures. Think of it is a textbook for Hogwarts that introduces students to the magical beasts in their wizarding world. It acts as a companion to the Harry Potter novels, with some beasts that fans will recognize and others that are not included in the Harry Potter series.

“Quidditch Through the Ages” is a comprehensive history of the popular game and its rules, while “The Tales of Beedle the Bard” is a collection of popular stories written for young wizards and witches. “The Tales of Beedle the Bard” also includes an introduction and illustrations by author J.K. Rowling and extensive commentary by Albus Dumbledore.

A perfect addition to any Harry Potter fan’s collection, the books would also make a great holiday gift if you like planning ahead. Shipping is free from Amazon Prime and from Target if you have a REDcard.

As a bonus, Scholastic will be donating 20% of all retail sales prices (less taxes) of the boxed set to charities selected by Rowling, so you’ll be giving two gifts for the price of one.

Will you be picking up this Harry Potter Hogwarts Library collection for you or a Harry Potter fan in your life?
