BOISE — Power has been restored to thousands of customers in northwest Boise Wednesday morning after a widespread outage affected the area.
Idaho Power reported around 2,774 customers were without electricity., including nearby Riverglen Junior high. The Boise School District said students were safe during the outage. The utility company did not say what caused power to go out.
Power was restored before noon.
