BOISE — Homelessness is a growing issue in the Treasure Valley.

"It is becoming a huge problem. Right now, we have about 170 families waiting for services on our housing list in our path home," said Rachel Flachbart, CATCH.

The local non-profit, CATCH aims to help families who are experiencing homelessness get into a house of their own. They're holding an event that has the potential to help many. Creative professionals are putting their services up for bid. Some include a brand marketing plan, print campaign, and photography. Small businesses can bid on the services they might already need at a discounted price which benefits CATCH.

Ventive is one of the companies that won a bid for a photography package previously.

"These guys showed up. We were blown away by their professionalism and the work they did. They came in and they really cared about the work, they interviewed us, they got to the heart of what we do," said Jonathan Cardella, CEO, Ventive.

The Creative Good Auction is Wednesday, September 25th at the Linen Building in Boise at 6 p.m. and tickets are 20 dollars.
