BOISE, Idaho — On Sunday staff from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County pulled the rope to release 10,000 toy dolphins into Roaring Springs’ Endless River. Waterpark guests lined the banks to cheer them to the finish.
The goal is to raise $30,000 to donate to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County.
In the past 20 years the Great Dolphin Dunk has raised over $900,000 in cash and in-kind donations for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Ada County.
The Boys & Girls Clubs provide essential support to over 4,500 kids ages 6-18, including academic support, healthy meals, and a safe place to go after school and in the summer.
2020's Great Dolphin Dunk winners were:
- First Place – 4 Roaring Springs 2020/21 Season Passes: Shadra Bruce, Bath, New York
- Second Place – $500 Cash donated by Bent Nail Inspections: Carri King, Nampa
- One year free pizza from Idaho Pizza Company: Lori Farrens, Nampa
