EAGLE, Idaho — Authorities are asking for the public's help in locating an 87-year-old vulnerable adult who was reported missing after leaving his residence on foot late Tuesday night.

John was last seen around 11:54 p.m. in the area of N. Pinedale Way and W. State St. in Eagle. According to deputies, he left his home on foot at that time and has not yet returned.

John is described as a white male with white hair, standing approximately 6'1 and weighs about 198 lbs. He was last seen wearing a bright blue jacket, cargo shorts, and tan or gray shoes. Police say he may also be carrying a stack of paperwork.

Family members and deputies are concerned for John's safety, as they believe he may be unable to find his way home on his own.

Law enforcement personnel and family members are actively searching for him and are urging residents in the Eagle area to remain alert. Anyone who sees John or has information about his whereabouts is asked to contact dispatch immediately at 208-377-6790.
