BOISE, Idaho — House Bill 270 moved to the Governor's desk on Monday after passing through both chambers during the 2025 legislative session.
The bill outlines a variety of situations where individuals found in violation of the new rules could be charged with a misdemeanor. Anyone found guilty of three violations within five years could face felony charges and up to five years in prison.
