CALDWELL, Idaho — The City of Caldwell says water department crews have finished emergency repair work on a water leak that prompted road closures and traffic delays on Tuesday.
Lake Avenue has reopened following the repairs. However, East Ustick Road between South Florida Avenue and Lake Avenue will remain closed through Friday, August 28.
The city says the extended closure will allow Das-Co of Idaho to relocate a gas line for Intermountain Gas Company.
Drivers in the area should continue to plan for the Ustick Road closure and use alternate routes until the work is complete.
