Boise Police looking for information about robbery suspect

UPDATE: Boise Police officers do not believe a weapon was used in the robbery reported Thursday evening. The investigation is still ongoing and officers are continuing to search for more information on 31-year-old Elijah Black.

ORIGINAL STORY: Boise Police are asking for the public's help in locating an armed robbery suspect.

Authorities say they responded to a report of an armed robbery around 5:30 Thursday evening on the 1400 block of Liberty Street.

Police say their initial investigation indicates a man forced his way into a home and struggled with the person who lives there before fleeing with that person's wallet.

The victim, who was treated by paramedics, said they know the suspect. Police have identified that suspect as 31-year-old Elijah Black. Authorities say Black is light-skinned, about six feet tall and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing gray sweatpants and a gray sweatshirt.
