BOISE, ID — With lots of fresh snow, many Treasure Valley residents spent the weekend getting to Bogus Basin. The parking lots were full on Saturday and Sunday, which temporarily stopped ticket sales at the Downtown Boise office.

"We love starting the year with 41 inches of fresh powder, so we can only hope that continues because people love it, so fingers crossed that there's more to come," said Susan Saad, Director of Community and Customer Relations, Bogus Basin.

Saad suggests coming up early or at night. She says there are new incentives to ride together.

"We've implemented a lot of new transportation initiatives this year. We have parking benefits for carpoolers for three people or more in a car. We have our new permanent downtown park and ride location so that people can carpool. We have a shuttle from downtown and so coming up early. Maybe if it gets busy on, during the days, come up after those peak hours, one-thirty or two-o-clock. We're open until ten so lots of things that you can do to ensure yourself a great time on the mountain."

It's good to check their website and social media to see current conditions and how busy the mountain is.
