BOISE, ID — Five bands performed on Saturday at the Ironwood Social to raise awareness about veteran suicide. All the funds raised will go to "Ride for 22." The organization provides support to loved ones left behind by suicide and helps eliminate the stigma surrounding military post-traumatic stress.

"Get them out of the darkness. That's the biggest push right now. Isolation is the worst thing you can do to a healthy mind and getting them around other veterans and seeing what we do and the resources. We also don't just focus on veterans. We focus on families left behind and those are our two big missions is those families that have been affected by veteran suicide, help them so they're not forgotten," said Steve Exceen, Ride For 22.

The group is raffling off a fully restored 1959 Thunderbird to raise money for veterans. It will be raffled off in April.
