In Caldwell the Yotes held their first scrimmage yesterday evening and from what Coach Moroski saw he is impressed with the defense. Six different quarterbacks combined to pass around 330 yards and three touchdowns as the Coyote football team closed out the opening week of practice.
On defense the yoke held the office to just 128 yards rushing on 41 carries with four different defenders recording a sack.
"We were in our proper gaps and I thought there was good energy that kept us from making big plays in the running game we didn't have a lot of mental errors and made some plays. Our quarterbacks all played well I thought we caught the ball well we did not turn the ball over we just want to make sure we're playing fast and hard," said, Head Coach Mike Moroski.
