The Mountain West Conference Has Confirmed that James Webb III Buzzer Beater 3-Pointer should have counted at the end of the 1st Overtime against Colorado State and Boise State should have won.

However the outcome of the game won’t be changed.  Just Yesterday, The league released a statement supporting the ref’s call.  Now the Mountain West says they were assured their replay system was synchronized with the with video.

The continued investigation has now concluded that the video that the referees were watching were at a different speed than aired on television this led to a false reading.
With the loss not changing the Broncos are now closer to sixth place in Conference and could play the first day of the Mountain West Tournament, rather than being in second place and having a first round bye.

The Broncos return to the court tomorrow afternoon against Wyoming at 2:00 PM.

Head Coach Leon Rice released this statement on the league's ruling on the blown call. "As a team we have moved on to prepare for our game tomorrow against Wyoming. As coaches and players, our job is to be resilient in the face of extreme circumstances. I'm proud of this group and how they have handled the adversity that has been unfortunately placed upon them. The matter is above and beyond our control now and in the hands of the conference office."
