The Cougars and Broncos are located just 300 miles from each other, and Saturday will be the fifth time they have met each other. It will also be the first time they have met in 15 years.
Adding to the pressure, the last Broncos regular season non-conference home loss came in 2001 against Washington State.
"I'm glad I don't have to watch film on it every day, to be honest with you, I think secretly those assistant coaches and those coaches at Boise, despite the fact it's a trademark thing, would rather watch their guys practice on grass,” said Washington State Head Coach Mike Leach.
“I think animal rights groups should keep that covered so that ducks break their necks when they try and land on the sucker. That’s what I think.”
