The Boise State Broncos saw their 10 game win streak snapped along with their 17 game home winning streak come to an end last night at the hands of San Diego State. This was their first loss at home since January of last year against Utah State.

The Broncos had the most struggles from behind the arc, going just one for seventeen from three point range. This performance by the Broncos matches the fewest three pointers Boise State has made in a game under Leon Rice. They also finished the game with just three assists and were 17of 54 overall from the field.

“They are one of the best defensive teams in the country as always. You don’t get many open looks against this team. When you do get those open looks, you have to capitalize. Tonight against their defense, we weren't able to do that. It's hard to get an assist when no one is making an outside shot. I dont think we saw the ball hit the net in any of our outside shots and that is normally where we get all of our assists.”

The Broncos will return to the court this coming Wednesday against San Jose State who are just 1 and 5 in conference play and 6 and 12 overall.
