A 7-2 start to the season, including five wins against NAIA Division I or NCAA Division II teams, helped the College of Idaho to the No. 8 position in the first NAIA Division II Men’s Basketball Coaches Poll of the regular season, released today by the NAIA sports information staff.
The Coyotes received 239 voter points from the 12 conference raters – with the team in the Top-25 for the fourth consecutive season.
Four Cascade Conference teams are in the poll – No. 13 Northwest Christian and No. 22 Northwest, with Eastern Oregon and Southern Oregon each receiving votes.
