This season out on the edge, things will be different for the Broncos- not having Darian Thompson and Donte Deayon who have both moved on and are now with the New York Giants.
The defensive backfield might have some freshmen seeing some time; that being more evident at the cornerback position. Jonathan Moxey, Tyler Horton, and Ray Ford all saw some time last season. Moxey says he hopes his interception total goes up and he can be an extra weapon on the edge.
"The turnover margin is very important. That’s the one thing we stressed as a defense all the time, so that’s one thing we continue to work on and we continue to drill that in our minds every time that we are on the field. We want to get the ball back for our offense. If I can do it for my team, then that’s what I’m going to try and do,” said, Cornerback Jonathan Moxey.
