The Boise State football is set to begin summer workouts this next week.  Last season quarterback Brett Rypien was a key leader for the group.

During spring football the gunslinger was without several key offensive leaders like wide receiver Cedrick Wilson and running back Alexander Mattison who were both out with injuries.

His offensive line was also missing through spring ball as Rypien had four potentially starting lineman out.

Rypien is traveling back from Steve Clarkson's quarterback retreat in, California where he has been working out with the 2016 Heisman winner Lamar Jackson from the University of Louisville.

Next week will also be a big week for the team as they are set to unveil the new football jerseys on Tuesday at Coach Harsin's press conference.
