Woman dies in Nampa crash on Sunday

NAMPA, ID – A woman died in a crash in Nampa Sunday morning, reported Idaho State Police.

At about 8:15 AM, July 10, 2016, Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle fatality crash at the intersection of Robinson Boulevard and Locust Lane, southeast of Nampa, Idaho.

Charlotte Dawson, 72 of Ridgecrest, California stopped on Locust Lane at the stop sign.  As she proceeded through the intersection, Dawson failed to yield to cross traffic and was struck by a 2005 Dodge 1500 pickup being driven by Camber Palmer, 18 of Kuna.

Dawson succumbed to her injuries at the crash scene.  Dawson's passenger was transported to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise by ground Ambulance.

Next of kin has been notified.
