A crash involving a vehicle and concrete truck shut down the intersection of Franklin Boulevard and Highway 20/26 for several hours.
According to the Idaho State Police, Lazaro I. Nunez-Elizalde, 23, of Meridian, was headed northbound on Franklin Boulevard and failed to stop at a stop sign.
A 1989 Mack cement truck headed eastbound on Highway 20/26 hit Nunez-Elizalde's vehicle.
The truck overturned and Nunez-Elizalde's vehicle stopped after hitting a fence.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and had to be transported to a local hospital.
No word on the extend of their injuries.
