About 2:02 a.m. Saturday, Boise Police officers responded to a report of a stabbing following an argument in the 1500 block of West Grove Street.

Before police arrived, witnesses say the suspects left the scene in what was described as a black Escalade-type SUV. The victims -– described as two male adults -- also left the scene, and drove in a private vehicle to a local hospital. They were treated for stab wounds that were considered serious but not life-threatening, according to a Boise Police Department news release.

Around 2:15 a.m., the release said, Boise Police officers spotted the suspects’ vehicle on Interstate 84 and pulled the driver over on Eagle Road, near Magic View.

The driver and the passenger were taken into custody without incident and booked into the Ada County Jail.

Roberto Sanchez, 32, of Nampa, faces a felony aggravated battery charge; Alejandro Aranda, 24, of Greenleaf, faces a felony probation violation.
