A Boise man was arrested Wednesday for possession of child pornography, according to Idaho Attorney General Lawrence Wasden.

Wasden says investigators with his Internet Crimes Against Children unit arrested Christopher M. Britton, 48, after conducting a search of his home and seizing evidence from his computer.

The investigation began after investigators reportedly observed Britton downloading child pornography through a peer to peer network.

Britton is being held in the Ada County Jail and is facing five felony counts of sexual exploitation of a child.
