Early risers are treated to a beautiful view in the skies of Boise this week.
Thursday was day two of the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic. Close to 50 hot air balloons in all shapes and colors are launching from Ann Morrison Park.
Good Morning Idaho's Jillian Garrigues got to take a ride on a balloon named "Makin' Friends." The pilot, Jeff Beebe, has flown the balloon for 10 years.
Weather permitting, the balloons will launch each morning through Sunday around 7:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome to come watch and take pictures. However, organizers do request no drones and no dogs.
