Police are trying to find out who fired into an occupied Nampa home Tuesday.

It happened about 10:45 p.m. in the 100 block of North Ethel Drive, according to a Nampa Police news release.

Several callers to dispatch reported hearing the gunshots.

“When officers arrived, they located a residence that had been shot into. There were four juveniles in the residence at the time the shooting took place. None were injured. Spent casings were found in the street in front of the residence, and at least two of the bullets went into the home,” said Sgt. Tim Riha.

A neighbor reported seeing a dark-colored passenger car, possibly a Honda, in the area just before the shooting occurred.

“There were no other suspect or vehicle descriptions reported to police,” Riha stated.

It is unknown if this was a gang-related drive-by shooting, he added.
