The residents of the Rushmore Trailer Court in Nampa are now weighing the few options they have. The city gave the residents 30 days to move out because of a failing septic system, calling it unsafe.

Today donations of bottled water and other goods were handed out after a meeting with residents and city officials in one of the homes. City officials meet with the residents to explain their options and help some fill out housing applications. Many of the people that live here own their trailers but say they can't afford to move them.

The property owner says he is working with the city to get the land switched from the septic system to city sewer, a solution that would mean the residents would not have to move. Right now city managers say Nampa will not be covering any of those costs.

"It's extremely unusual for the city to enter into an agreement like that and it's likely not going to happen. "said Vicki Holbrook the Communications Director for the city of Nampa during the meeting.

The residents have till April 17th until they are evicted.
