The Canyon County Sheriff’s Office would like to notify the public that River Road between Plymouth road (old steel bridge) and Channel Lane has been closed to all traffic.
Part of the riverbank and northbound lane of traffic has been washed away by the Boise River at this location. Canyon County Highway District #4 will be attempting to repair and re-open the roadway this coming week.
The Canyon County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind motorists to be observant of areas along the river for possible hazards from the increased flows. If you encounter water across roadways, remember to turn around, don’t drown.
