Idaho State Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that blocked I-84 for over an hour Monday night.
According to State Police, 44-year-old Costancio Rodriguez of Oregon was driving a semi pulling a flatbed trailer near Meridian when he was hit from behind by a Mazda. The car caught fire but, when police arrived on the scene -- the driver was not there.
Police say the Mazda was stolen.
The crash happened on eastbound I-84 near the Meridian Road exit.
Lanes were blocked while crews worked to put out the fire.
