UPDATE: We now know the identities of the people involved in a fatal accident on State Highway 55 between Nampa and Marsing.

Idaho State Police say 21-year-old Jarom Empey from Washington was driving northbound in a Ford pickup truck around 6:30 p.m. Friday when he crossed the center line and hit a 4-door sedan traveling southbound head on.

The driver of the sedan, 28-year-old Stephanie Frazier of Marsing, was taken to St. Alphonsus in Boise along with with one of the children who was in the backseat. 35-year-old Christopher Frazier and a second child were pronounced dead at the scene.

Empey was transported to West Valley Hospital in Caldwell.

Their conditions are unknown at this time.

Officers say all occupants were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.

The highway was blocked off for four hours while crews cleared the scene, but all lanes are now back open.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation, but there was extremely dense fog in the area at the time of the accident.
