The inventors of a system called Black Box VR hope think their invention will revolutionize the way people work out.

They system takes exercisers into the virtual world of video games. CEO and co-founder of Black Box VR, Ryan DeLuca says most people who start a fitness program quit within the first couple of weeks. Video gamers, on the other hand, have a hard time quitting their games. DeLuca believes combining fitness with video gaming will revolutionize the way people exercise.

Black Box was voted number one among nine hundred startups at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Each system costs twenty thousand dollars. DeLuca says his company hopes to open a Black Box Gym in San Francisco next to Twitter headquarters to test the viability of the product. He hopes to have it available in Boise in the next year or two, and hopes to eventually bring the cost down so people can use Black Box at home.
