On Friday, September 30, 2016 at approximately 7:52 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a vehicle versus pedestrian crash on US30 near Stevens Ave, in Filer.
John Busman, 76, of Buhl was traveling westbound on US30 in a 2016 Chevy Silverado, when a juvenile pedestrian entered the crosswalk and was struck by the vehicle.
The juvenile was transported by ground ambulance to St. Luke's Magic Valley. The westbound lanes of travel were blocked for approximately one hour while crews worked to clean up the scene.
