Firehouse Subs donated over $25,000 in equipment during a ceremony on January 21st.

The Meridian Fire Department received several bikes equipped with EMS bags for large crowd situations and two new defibrillators.

The Parma Rural Fire District was given a variety of rescue tools including a saw, lighting and new gloves.

"This donation is a huge benefit to us, just like every other fire department in the country we are strapped, our budget is tight, just anything out of the ordinary like this actually got us equipment that we may not have been able to buy any other time," Deputy Chief Jeff Rodgers from the Parma Rural Fire District explained.

Since opening in 2005, Firehouse Sub has donated over $85,000 in donations for emergency personnel in Idaho.
