Fire officials say a blaze destroyed a barn in Kuna, on Hubbard Rd. near Meridian Rd. Wednesday evening.
Neighbors tell 6 On Your Side that the structure was more than 100 years old.
Crews say the fire did burn some of the surrounding area, including some hay, but the house was spared.
Crews from Meridian, Boise and Kuna responded to knock down the flames. They had to haul in water, as there are no hydrants in the area.
No one was injured.
The cause of the fire is not yet clear.
