A Deputy involved in the Jack Yantis shooting is speaking out online. The Council rancher was shot and killed on November first during an incident with law enforcement.
Deputy Brain Wood posted a public statement on his Facebook page on Monday, saying the past weeks have been the most trying time of his life, and thanked those who have supported him. Wood also referenced the other deputy involved and says: “Those who want to hate us always will, regardless of what the investigation shows. ... I know what happened. You know what happened. Hopefully soon, the world will know what happened."
